This is the time of year I start counting down until spring break, sleeping in and sunshine. Although, as the date quickly approaches my excitement dampens. I’m not sure about you but my countdown is bittersweet. I love the fact that I get more time with my kids, I love sleeping in and no homework. But, I dread the never ending need to entertain my four monsters.
So, this year I have been preparing and I thought I would share my activity ideas with you too!! I can’t take credit for originating these adorable crafts as I found them on pinterest. But, I was thinking my addiction to pinterest might save you some time.

Now back to my daydreaming…
This adorable painting let’s you young artist create a cool image using painters tape and watercolors. Super easy and cute. Click here to see the complete instructions.
You can save your pennies by making your own beads. This entertains kids for quite awhile since its two projects in one! They get to make their beads and then string them. Click here to see the instructions.
Make your own ice cream in a baggie. This is old school… but kids get a kick out of it. For added fun you can buy m&m’s, reese’s peanut butter cups and oreo’s and let kids customize their flavors too. Click here to see complete instructions.
I love this one… a new track every day with masking tape. I know this will keep my younger boys busy and I can’t wait to see what kind of tracks they come up with. No instructions here but I did find this image on pinterest here.
Keep your kids busy and educate them in a fun way with this easy science project. I love stuff like this… and luckily as long as you put your container on a baking pan its not even that messy. Click here for the complete instructions.
Enjoy your spring break!!!
