Yup… that about sums it up. I am seriously addicted to this whole Pinterest thing. I absolutely love scouring boards to find new recipes, fun things to do with the kids,
check out some hotties and escape into the dream lands of fashion and travel. And, guess what it’s actually not a bad thing. Why you ask? Believe or not I have solid evidence that Pinterest is actually making me a better Mama 😉 Shall we begin?
This week I bring you my reason #1:
We are cooking healthier- Yes, all that crazy late night recipe scouring has actually built quite the beneficial resource. I now have a library of delicious and nutritious recipes for healthy weeknight meals, fun weekend breakfasts, after school snacks & more! We are all eating healthier and loving it. My oldest son happens to also be my pickiest eater (stinker can find my attempts at hiding veggies like some sort of trained sniffing hound) but he has been trying new foods and veggies after helping me find new recipes on Pinterest. We search the photos, read the recipes and then attempt to cook them together. The exciting thing is because he is so involved in the process he is trying foods I would never be able to get down his throat otherwise- WooHoo!!!
