It’s been nearly 10 years since we moved (I drug my poor hubby from the beaches of Santa Monica) to the quaint suburbs of Temecula. A girl needs to raise her family near her mama- right? And, after a few (LONG) years of complaining hubby has finally taken to Temecula… in fact he even has a nickname for our place of dwelling he calls it T-Town. Here are some T-Town-Tastic ways to have fun around town:
Without the Kids:
Visit Killarney’s for a dellicious and hearty Irish meal and a frosty mug of beer. I suggest you head to the back and throw some darts, play a game or two of shuffle board and end your great night eating a scrumptious Cinnamon Boxty!! You can thank me later!
You can also visit one of my Favorite Sushi restaurants in town- Love Boat Sushi. Not only are their rolls delicious and I am talking super good, but their staff is super friendly and attentive. One of my favorite rolls that you should absolutely not leave without trying is their lobster roll that comes with flames and all. YUM!!!
With the Kids:
Hit up a fun event in town. There are lots of Kid Friendly venues that travel through town. Like…
Circus Vargas. I have to admit clowns are not my friends and I have not been to a circus since I was a small child so I had very low expectations when hubby snagged a great deal from Deal Palooza (yes we purchase our own deals) and drug me down to the big top. But, guess what the animal free circus was so much fun. The kids had a fantastic time and I was entertained the entire show. I will definitely go again next year!
A new venue that also ran a great deal with Deal Palooza was the Pechanga Food Truck Festival. There were over 40 food trucks lined up to serve some delicious food to the people. I wasn’t able to attend this one but a few of the other Palooza Team Peeps were there and they had a blast. I think this event will grow and evolve into a fantastic annual event.
So, while T-Town is not as exciting maybe to some as Santa Monica there is definitely a lot of fun to be had!!!
